In October, the Higher Drama class travelled to the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh to see Black Hole Sign, a powerful play written by Uma Nada-Rajah, a practising nurse, which offers a vivid portrayal of life in an A&E ward.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed their evening at the theatre and are now exploring the play in depth as part of their preparation for the written element of the course.

We were also delighted to welcome Jordan Blackwood, one of the directors involved in the production, who visited Beeslack to deliver an engaging and insightful workshop with the class.
